Kagoku yea using templates is technically also advantageous and time saving it's why many people use CSS templates over just making them... unless your really trying to understand how everything works i don't really see much of a point re-creating the wheel here. maybe it's just me but i think your way of thinking of how programming should be done is way to strict for me it's also why programming libraries exist as well so idk maybe you tell me why would you create a whole website from scratch if the framework for a functional one already exists? EX: "it's like putting a nail through the would by hand instead of using a hammer". Although sometimes creating scratch is fun don't get me wrong but your main reason usually boils down to these 3
- 1: learning how to build the in's and outs of a building a webpage
- 2: trying to improve the functionality and load times between posts / content
- 3: trying to use a webpage for msic use that doesn't have what you want so you wind up building it yourself
criticism is good and all but don't be that type of person who just to tells someone to get better when that's obviously not what they were asking for this forum was created as a place for people who use CDO to hangout / chill and share knowledge, if you don't bring any of these to the table then what's the point of you being here anyway? not to be rude or anything but it seems like you have no intention of any of these things.... if your a better programmer shouldn't you have better things to do.... you know other than complain in the forum?
