• Question
  • Adam are you ok? Do you need help

Still isnt mature buddy, you just writing in a blind fit of rage and posting it instead of doing something else to cope?
really starting to question why you posted it.

youraverage_nomo Clearly I struck a nerve if it isn't directed at you and you're still going off about it.

clearly your still going on about it when you could of just said "Im wrong, im sorry" BUT instead you decide to defend your pride?

youraverage_nomo I'm the one who's keeping it going? Buddy, pal, friend, this was weeks ago. You feel the need to bring up something from way in the past because why? You literally have no reason to bring this up other than instigating stuff for shits and giggles.

Took you a while to write that, but ok.
anyways, even if this was weeks ago, you could of just either said im sorry, i messed up or just deleted that thing entierly instead of that, you just said "Remind me to never hit publish again" and "I can kinda see why I wrote all that, now. I've spent the past two years of my life making apps and games completely for free without asking for anything in return other than respect, and this is how all my hard work and devotion was repayed." as if your trying to justify it, instead of actually just saying, "sorry i posted this guys, i was kind of angry! please let me make up for this small mistake in the forseable future!"
and your saying im still going on about this, look at you! your still trying to defend yourself when CLEARLY you could of just said "i was wrong then, im sorry."

anyway, im not going to respond anymore to this crud, because i actually have other things i need to do other than being on a forum.

ok that's fine. Man these people are a bit off to me. I dont know something about them is just off

INTERNECION It's natural to dislike posts like this, especially on a site like code.org, but they took it way, way too far.

@youraverage_nomo bros tryna fight with the owner 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
@[WUT] Adam when i said error in your ways i was saying how you had worked so hard, but for what, only to be remixed mocked and forgotten, but you have finally realized it doesnt have to be that way, that you can put your heart head and soul into your projects without having to feel the burning sensation of loss.

            im poetic

            no im not
i respect our stong and unbiased leader and i would do nothing to harm them

            Hello there!
I see you've been struggling with the amazing world of CDO and i'm here to help!!!

First, let me establish something. I'm apparently not a very good judge of what's insulting and what's not, so by continuing to read, you are agreeing not to start another big argument like the ones that have driven me off of this site twice before.

CDO is a chaotic place. It's an incredible failure of too much and yet too little site moderation. CDO tries to prevent so much through the denial of chatting, commenting, and even profiles(they only give the first letter of a creator's username, XD), and yet it seems like they don't even try to take care of all the shit that's been going around. They don't even care to monitor the reporting system and take down programs by hand, they just make it all automatic.

IDK if y'all have ever read Ender's Game. Anyways, in the book there's a strict system made to be broken. When you take a step back from CDO and begin to look upon the whole thing, it has a shocking resemblance to this 'made to be broken' system. I'm not trying to argue that CDO is a big social experiment, I'm just saying that it's so fucking stupid that the comparison can even be made.

Let's look at the 'good guys'. Intern, if you're reading this, now would be a good time to stop.
The 'good' people can be divided into two groups: programmers and non programmers. Let's look at programmers first.
Programmers include people like WUTAdam. They spend a lot of time making cool projects on a children's programming website, which while I admit sounds kinda stupid, is a fun pastime. Sometimes, however, these programmers put a bit too much effort into a terribly designed website, and people take their work and destroy it. Be it through remixing or 'hacking', the work is destroyed. It's perfectly reasonable to me mad about this, but when you put your time, effort, and trust into a shitty place like CDO it's bound to hurt you eventually.
Now the non-programmers. While i'm not gonna name anyone specifically, there's a lot of nice people(or so i've heard) on CDO who don't know what the frick they're doing. This is expected because CDO, as stated before, is a children's programming website, made for people to learn how to code. However, these people, they don't learn how to code, instead they simply plop themselves into a chat made by a more experienced programmer, 'protect' the chat, and put themselves under the title of 'good'. I can't explain to you just how annoying this is, as these people have no idea what they're doing, and they, if anything, just further incentive the trolls on CDO to hack and destroy the projects that the experienced programmers put time into.

Now let's look at the whole CDO 'chat' situation.
I've said this before... but... WHY DO PEOPLE USE CDO CHATS??? It's just another way for a troll to ruin a person's day.
I get why the chats are made, it's fun to tamper with CDO's anti social format whilst challenging yourself to make a good project, but why are they actually used???!?
It's stupid, I tell you, incredibly stupid. There's websites meant for chatting, so why use the one website built to keep people antisocial? WHY???

And now, to wrap it all up, let's advertise KA(it wouldn't be on-brand for me if i didn't).
Khan Academy, a place where everything is taught adequately
Khan Academy, with pjs, html, and more
Khan Academy, with much faster programs than CDO
Khan Academy, with an automatically refreshing display for pjs so you don't have to constantly click the run button
Khan Academy, with a built in chat for socializing, asking, and helping
Khan Academy, with adjustable display sizes
Khan Academy, with an actual voting system and projects list so you don't just see remixed shit
Khan Academy, with really good moderation so trolls don't take over
Khan Academy, with a giant community of top-tier programmers, innovating and creating daily
Khan Academy, better than CDO in every way
Switch to KA, it's better. Don't believe me? See for yourself: https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/computer-programming/browse

hold while i get google translate to read that to me
              might take a couple hours

ah ok i see what your getting at

but im trying to leave cdo too
cdo is terrible for importing, exporting etc
quite frankly, im trying to leave any sight made for kids
i abandoned all my cdo projects long ago and im working towards leaving that all behind
to create a new era in my coding
and hopefully become a full scale developer, rather than just a dude on a free platform

in other words, khan may look like paradise, but its the same money making trap, free for you, money for them

                L
