ASmartCoder Code.org defines a chat as any multi-user app hosted on the site that allows communication "outside of a legitimate classroom context."

why an email system when you have a forum anyway
i dont understand why people put in so much effort

ASmartCoder any way of communicating with others on cdo via any of their tools would go against that rule from my knowledge. if you looked into it, you might be able to try and find a loophole in their wording but that would be difficult

What is "a legitimate classroom context."

What is a legitimate classroom context? Assuming I asked my teacher if we could make a chat
as an assignment, and she said yes. Then, we started using the chat IN THAT CLASS TIME ONLY.
That would count as a legit classroom context, correct?

EZ solution make a ton of alts have them all in a class thing and boom you can say it is for a class project

I misclicked no but it is definitely a chat sadly. Ah man why did the chats have to be neg'd by CDO like that man. I was having fun bro

Fluffypoopo It makes sense, though. Code.org is supposed to be a safe educational coding website and most chats don't even use the moderation features.

its what was getting hacked in the first place so i think its for the better

[WUT] Adam and even if they did, it could very easily be circumvented with either by viewing the code, or if it had protection, using the key value editor thing or incognito
So it was very much a good decision of CDO

Honestly I do not care that they removed chats I am just very mad that they deleted Locus even after I removed the chat

and they will not even respond to my report trying to get Locus back before it is permanently deleted and they wasted soooo much time that it was permanently deleted

            Chat
