Varrience glezen_wolf Why not? half the directory was spammed with those projects.... actually i do have such a rant for this occasion in my Trilogy project.... but it all basically boils down to low effort remixes that does nothing as such this goes against CDO original goals of making it a learning environment, sure you can still have unpublished chats i have no problem with that because your learning how it works also when no people are online it becomes empty space making it a garbage project because it has no tangibility I'm actually surprised that they took this long to update this into their terms
Varrience person I actually have a better editor because i got pissed off at them, it has no UI (probably why it didn't take off when i published it) though but i have documented the shortcuts thoroughly In fact I'll link it right now https://studio.code.org/projects/gamelab/UtLZVcZnm63ZMOD8ptr3vHWOcEgY-Q6rF-Mei_18qVk/view
Fluffypoopo I have to be honest, chats where what keep things alive now they are banned and basically any online communication without chats projects are not going to be popular anymore because the community is one of the main things that made it popular
Varrience Fluffypoopo well if it's going to be popular with no one wanting to learn how to make things any better then they probably shouldn't have been interested in the first place most of the people who did chat on there had 0 idea how anything worked which literally contradicts everything CDO stands for! so if anything we would be better off losing those people because they really weren't dedicated to the goal in the first place. they only wanted a place to socialize; in which there are plenty of other safe and secure ways to do so. <- (read trilogy rant for more details) yea it might be a harsh truth but drawing a clear line in the sand is for the best
Fluffypoopo Locus is based on a chat for a back bone while it is being developed but not there is no point and cdo said if I made a remix and removed the chat part they are going to ban that one too
Fluffypoopo well I made it easier to remix but if remixed by a reando it will throw sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many codes
