April 8, 2024 - The moon passed between some parts of the good 'ol USA (as well as Canada/Mexico) and the sun.

It's completely off-topic, but who saw the eclipse? A lot of code.org users are from the US, so I wouldn't be surprised if a few of you got to see totality. If you did, how was it?

How did you see the eclipse

I saw totality
I saw a partial eclipse
I saw it online
I saw it through eclipse glasses
I made a pinhole camera and saw the shadow
Tree shadows looked kinda funky today
Wait, there was an eclipse today?

DragonFireGames Didn't really see that much of the eclipse, the clouds were everywhere and I missed like 80% of the whole thing. Hopefully the next 20 years it would be better lol!

it was cool ig, it got really dark

DragonFireGames In my area there was 99% but a cloud passed over the sun RIGHT as the moon completely covered it. I didn't even get to see the crescent shaped tree shadows. But at least I saw it several years back so it's not that sad that I missed the best part... and actually the best part was the donuts and popcorn and getting to hang out with my friends. 😁
