Due to recent changes with how code.org manages public projects I am abandoning this site in search of alternatives. Many of my projects were so fun because of the large userbase and the use of key-values and an external server to make a multi-user experience. As such, I will wrap up my current projects and move on.
Here is a list of the projects:
- FCR2: Basically done so I will be halting all updates
- Chess & Checkers: Almost done so I will finish it
- Codemon: In a state of limbo, I may or may not choose to finish this project
I may continue to update my libraries upon bug reports, but no new features will be added. Feel free to remix all of my projects for yourself, just give me some credit.
It was fun while it lasted, and I am sad to see it go. (I'm feeling replit vibes right now.) I may still post content here, but it will be unrelated to code.org. I hope my projects have served as an example as to what is possible using code.org. I will cherish these memories and I have enjoyed my stay in this community. However, on a positive note, this provides the exciting opportunity to learn and create new and complicated things on other platforms.
It is a shame that it must end in this way. I wish my numerous other project ideas would see the light of day, however, I know that will never be the case. If you can, please share my projects with your friends in the wider code.org community.
