SquirrelGuy-5 Hey, ima opening a discussion about 3D animated graphics in games. I would like to know if anyone here knows how to do it ππ»
ackvonhuelio time to promote ka with some cool 3d stuff i found a while ago https://www.khanacademy.org/computer-programming/bee-swarm-simulator/5493611411324928 - bee swarm sim https://www.khanacademy.org/computer-programming/p3d-but-better/6520532231307264 - 250 fps 3d https://www.khanacademy.org/computer-programming/the-best-renderer-on-ka/5092844918587392 - cool renderer
SquirrelGuy-5 ackvonhuelio Thx, ur very helpful, however, ima not talking about PROGRAMMING graphics, ima talking about actually 3D modeling them and including them in a C++ game and graphics rendering program for a 3D game like Fortnite. π
Letti42 dont use code.org or ka both suck and are bad for 3d graphics, use babylonjs or threejs I've used threejs to make a small multiplayer game that works very very very very well if you use khan academy or code.org you're only limiting and preventing yourself from learning
DragonFireGames https://editor.p5js.org/DragonFireGames/sketches/psFVjwhSA I was gonna make it music based but gave up
DragonFireGames SquirrelGuy-5 I use Unity game engine & blockbench for that stuff. Though, Unity is C# and not C++. Also, Blender crashes my computer.
SquirrelGuy-5 DragonFireGames C#? Got it. Iβve got blender too, and it doesnβt crash my computer, but itβs getting slower.
ackvonhuelio gZany the bee swarm sim has a fullscreen button, any other KA project you can add ?width=NUMBER&height=NUMBER&editor=no to the end of the url to tamper with the canvas size
Lil-Starcast I have Blender but I stopped using it because my computer was getting too old. I've never known how to combine code with the 3d models though.
SquirrelGuy-5 I am happy to inform all of u that I have found a wonderful app called NeoAxis Engine which combines C# with models and images to create 3D or 2D games. There are also default game scenes! π
