• Question
  • Does anyone care if someone is a CDO legend?

I have made legendary games such as auuauauauauauau which was on the front page of cdo for 3 whole days even thought it was just screaming

person that’s cuz the featured projects were randomly chosen by bots

ya but he CDO legends are kind of crappy people. I haven't met many of them because most of them make one annular visit to one chat. they just seam like recluses.

Comment: Well damn ok guess I don't want the role of a legend :(

ackvonhuelio Im going to assume that it was when featured projects still existed and I hope blud didn’t have his computer running for 3 days straight

Not sure if i'm considered a legend though for me i just do what's fun for me.... at the current moment I'm still currently making something but pacing myself so i don't burn out leave the project sitting for a while, as for the legend's i know most if not all somewhat in which they have all contributed to the current knowledge i have today and am able to share if necessary. Sure not everyone may have the best personalities though i think there all pretty cool for the most part

Captain_Jack_Sparrow Additionally, Chat's are against TOS agreements now most i know of are on discord (excluding ravage from what I know). Most have gone dormant or banned anyways idk how long I'll be here for either since I've kinda slowed down on making projects and on occasion doing something i really want to do. A lot of techniques were found allowing to push the platform further than the expected utility take my HTTP extension library for example. So i feel like you should have somewhat respect for the people who saved you time and decided to allow public use of it. Though perhaps i may be wrong.... feel free to disagree if you'd like

Varrience Hacking is against federal law and look what R3d has done. They added a rule that a account has to be what was it, a week old? to post projects and all projects must be 30 minutes old to be posted. Under The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), this is a federal crime and If you are charged with federal hacking crimes under 18 U.S.C. § 1030, you could face up to a year in federal prison for lesser offenses. Think about that next time you consider the CDO TOS as a thing helping Pepto.

Comment: using a console that cdo literally gives to you is not hacking...

Captain_Jack_Sparrow @peptobepto is pretty new so i don't exactly consider em one (when did i say i supported his project? because i assure you i have not. Jumping to conclusions like that are unbased are harmful).... if this is what your referring to the people i include are probs Letti, Ravange, LGM, Impixel, Zirski, Owyoko, Makbran, and Ack (when he was actually doing CDO projects) and while i am aware of this act somewhat vaguely it's not like i encourage this.... I said making more useful features available to help people create projects on the platform, and while CDO could persue charges there mainly a non for profit so not sure how different that goes between companies since I've never really cared looking them up though if you do have some knowledge do enlighten me

Captain_Jack_Sparrow i stg ive posted on this thread way to many times but here's my first non s***post. As far as terms of service go, while they aren't necessarily helping me or project r3d, they certainly aren't hurting me either. With code.org being a nonprofit they just cant allocate funds towards constant moderation (clearly) so me and r3d as a whole help them with it. While we are also breaking tos, we are doing it to stop potentially thousands of other instances of tos violations. I don't know if you've been around chatrooms, especially fcr (which allows image embeds for some god awful reason) but they can be some pretty vile places (nsfw imagery sent and recieved by minors, erotic roleplay, things that could actually traumatize children, etc) so if code.org knows about us, and they may, they can afford to turn a blind eye to our behavior.

peptobepto Another strike! Whoopee! Here's to the GigaChad PFP! For every ban, the gigachad will degrade until he becomes very "badly drawn" lmao
Send me your best "badly drawn" gigachads! I'll be needing them for Pepto, seeing his wonderful shitpost streak!
