a little something I'm working on.... once i get all the annoying html stuff out of the way i should be able to preserve some of the games that have just been sitting in a list and hopefully i can get the iframe to dynamically scale to that way it'll be better but depends when i feel like updating it for now https://github.com/Varrience/CDOLFP/tree/main>https://github.com/Varrience/CDOLFP/tree/main is the link if anyone wants to contribute to it...

Binary_Coder it's in the json for published projects API I'd probably have to fish it out, currently the only path that contains such an isFeatured: parameter is in the gallery API
    https://studio.code.org/api/v1/projects/gallery/public/all/100
this is the only way i currently know however if someone else has information into getting this parameter through a project I'd be interested in that to (you can supply different params to get what you want i just gave a base path example btw)

Varrience So I know how to use that to get currently featured projects, but I was wondering if there’s a way to find projects that were once featured but aren’t anymore. I thought that’s what your program did, but maybe not? I can only view the code, the actual interface doesn’t load correctly.

Binary_Coder API is currently for my project, and no it features games that should be featured.... though i'll need to update it again and i haven't full formed a list, this just mainly serves as a list and people can contribute project IDs to it if they find any

Site is back online, i will be taking link submissions if you wish for any of your projects to be on the list add them here so i can look through them.... note that you may want ones that are within TOS friendliness as if the the project gets taken down the embed will not work

and I'll give out some coins if people still find them valuable or just want votes if i enjoy the games that i plan on adding later on, it won't solely be based on my opinion if enough people like your submission here I'll add it even if i didn't enjoy it as much

altZany I plan on having my separate featured list that includes all non featured projects as well, if binary posts it here I'll definitely add, if you have any projects you built yourself that you think have merrit I'll take a look at those as well

You know, it'd be kinda cool to have a site that could serve as a functional replacement to the public project section on code.org. Fully community moderated & stuff. You could publish a project & then search for published projects, all sorted by popularity ratings. Kinda like steam but for cdo projects.

DragonFireGames maybe.... although I wouldn't care to moderate it of which I'd rather just have admissions here and then I'd add based on feedback here for now

Varrience I mean, unlike cdo where projects are sorted by recency, you could have it sorted by popularity. Although, you'd need some kind of account/auth system to prevent spam. Upvote posts, allow people to write descriptions of their game & comment stuff.

DragonFireGames yea.... which is why I'd rather keep it simple i have a hardcoded list of which if people want there projects added and they seem good enough they'll be on the list

technically github is the intermediary since i think anyone can pull request my project and add one of there projects for approval..... but it'd just be more easier to just post it here and hear feedback on if it deserves to be added to the list

DragonFireGames i mean you basically do have an authentication system shouldn't be too hard, i actually have an exporter that can export games as well but it's not being hosted at the moment so you could basically have all of the functionality of CDO without even needing to touch the site

altZany Yeah it never got featured... here's the link. Which reminds me, I've been meaning to release an updated version but haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe I'll work on that.

And DragonFireGames that would be a great idea. The only major problem would be getting other people to see it, since the forum community is pretty small.
