[WUT] Adam Well... technically that right... but also wrong, most companies have a bug bounty program set in place for people to be able to test certain things to insure that it's not exploitable while attacking the company or organization is illegal on your own there can be such contracts that allow such things to take place within a set time limit much like QA is for games as Ethical Hacking is for security there is a job field for a reason however this is not what you did which is why you are not condoning such actions be taken if you are in the same situation I'm glad this didn't turn out to be worse than it could have been I'm glad you shared the info with us though

                    Oh yeah, they also said that they thought that I thought I was "too smart to get caught". I knew that if they cared enough about finding the perp, they would figure out it was me. The thing is, I didn't think they would care. They didn't care about fixing a vulnerability that I told them about (twice) until I abused it. Yes, just because I can do it doesn't mean I should, but if it wasn't me, it was just going to be someone else.
