Isn't it a bit weird that almost everyone on the Game Lab chats has accepted that restricted (3-20 characters, lowercase letters, numbers, underscores, dashes, periods) are the norm? Sure, Dots and WUTCord have the same restrictions, but only because all the other chats have those restrictions too. When someone occasionally posts a remix of Ziriksi's chat, some people still use lowercase usernames until they see others using any username they want.

    well I input my username the exact same everywhere "Fluffypoopo" but most chats do lowercase only

        well, my chat was highly modified from zirski's which almost anything is basically changed, along with some form of a prototype hybrid dm group system (which i commented out but it works...), definitely can be improved but idc and a bunch of test features i implemented along the way... just that so many people publish chats... so why would i choose to? most people care about pizazz and not features

          Varrience I do miss how, when Ziriksi's was the most common remix, people at least changed the colors. Most chats these days just use the default Brendan's Chat theme, and even thought they have a feature that lets people pick their own themes, they don't use it.

            INTERNECION I just end up using WUTAdam or wutadam because the Ziriksi's Chat remixes don't let me use "[WUT] Adam" due to the way messages are handled.

                INTERNECION well they can fix that if they had all letters uppercase (including the name it is comparing from the table) when it checks if that one is taken

                  [WUT] Adam that's fair enough.... i could change that.... but it's not really of interest to me, caps and lowercase seem fine anyways, I also have chat history to along with the current amount of people, online I did showcase a project called Test ENV which held a bunch of key value manipulation code, i could publish it again, hell i even wrote a graphics showcase of how much information it collects, and I've improved it so it won't fail on updating the key

                  as a sidenote for people remixing.... they really don't know what there doing, and they ignore documentation entirely it's absolutely ludicrous you don't even have to try! it's right there in front of your face, either that or they just have no intention of learning how something works, that's just my theory anyways

                    remember when people just talked on discord like normal people, instead of making easily hacked chats for people to talk across a childrens coding website where people like @INTERNECION have to pretend that they're a superhero and defend the other not normal people on the chats from pedophiles on a children's coding website all whilst no on actually knows how to program because they're on chats on a website made for learning to code and not to chat

                                    I truly believe that CDO should be used to learn coding (ITS CALLED CODE.ORG FOR A REASON), and not for people to get in arguments and get mad over easily hacked chatapps
