  • I wish more people talked about sensitive topics. That's hard to do!

INTERNECION I usually choose to ignore off-topic posts, but this one interested me, so I'm commenting on it. I'm not sure why you think it's such a bad thing that I'm interacting with one of my users, but Ok.

      I don’t have much of a filter and the only 2 people that can change my filter is my Girlfriend and Brendan because he scary

      Brendan I am only saying that because you are only saying that this is a forum just for code.org and that there are other places for this. However you didnt acknowledge the other discussions that have nothing to code.org but only me

            INTERNECION No, I'm saying that most people don't discuss sensitive topics on this because this is a forum for code.org and that most of the users are children who either don't know enough about serious topics or are too sensitive to discuss them.

                Brendan Ok? This forum isn't really child friendly either. Neither are the chats over at the actual site! So what are you talking about? Don't these metaphorical children need to learn about this stuff anyway? Am I missing something?

                      INTERNECION No, they don't need to learn anything. I'm not saying that this is directed at children, or advertised at children, or anything like that. It's just who most of the userbase is comprised of, and it's why most people don't discuss serious topics here. It's not like you can't discuss sensitive topics here, most people just don't.

                        Well too bad I am not "most people". And yes they will need to learn this at sometime. And either way it's children. there is a high possibility that they know about this stuff already, but they keep it secret. Think about it

                                I mean, you could easily argue against this, but personally I think it's safe to keep sensitive topics sensitive

                                    Tru that's why they should be talked about even more so. Just normalized in the same way that saying random slang words that make no sense based on definition is.
