Initiating a DDOS attack, or a Distributed Denial of Service attack, is a crime. The Federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act states that the consequences for initiating one can include a $500,000 fine and up to ten years in prison. Conspiring to initiate a DDOS attack, such as making forum posts like this one, can lead to a $250,000 fine and 5 years in prison.
We could totally do it lol.
Um, but maybe not. It could be cool tho.
